Britches finished her championship in 3 weekends. She is a very square OES with a lovely length of neck and correct OES head. Her coat color is what the Europeans call grizzle, which is a dove gray undercoat with black guard hairs, with fabulous texture. It is one of the best we have ever produced. She finished so quickly, we never saw her full adult coat in the ring.
We bred Britches to Int Ch Aryakas Cosmopolitan Junior and got the our beautiful puppy SnowDowne My Favorite Color Is Purple (Violet). We will be breeding Britches when she comes into her next season.
Britches lives with our good friend Renee Smith, and Britches has her very own pet kitty that she is best friends with! Renee took care of Britches for Dea when she was had ankle surgery and was in bed for 5 months. We couldn’t dream of taking her away from her kitty, so Renee kept Britches.
Dea: At the January, 2010 Seattle Specialty, I was kneeling down getting a dog ready to go in the ring, and I felt gentle OES kisses at the back of my neck. I didn’t even know Britches was at the show with Renee, but Britches found me! I was so happy to see her and gave her a big hug. Who says dogs don’t remember people!
