Nelson is owned by our dear friends Jerry and Belinda Holcombe. He was their first sheepdog and their first show dog. Jerry did all of Nelson’s grooming and handled him many times, getting most of Nelson’s points himself.
Judges consistently remarked about what wonderful, balanced movement Nelson has. Nelson beat top ranked OES on his way to his championship.
After finishing Nelson, Jerry promptly went on to show their other OES from us, Ch SnowDowne Irish Lace. Jerry put back to back majors on Maureene the weekend of the OESCGS Specialty, with many of the other bitches being shown by top ranking professional handlers. Way to go Jerry!
We are so proud of Belinda and Jerry. Their positive attitude towards life is a joy to be around. They are what dogs are all about for us, all the dear friends we have made through our OES. Thank you Jerry and Belinda!
